...for many months we have enjoyed the majority of our meals together sitting on one of our sofas (sp?) eating off of little "tables" that were actually once bar stools that we bought for our old apartment. So for my birthday, my husband decided that it was time for us to get a dining room table...and what better occasion than my birthday to have an excuse to splurge on such a thing. We found the following table at Rooms-to-Go a couple months ago and when Stephen gave me a choice of either a new dining room table or something different...the choice was easy...dining room table :)
...so one week after my birthday, this was delivered to our aparment and set up by some very kind delivery guys:
I enjoy eating meals with my husband at this table! And hopefully this table will not only host our family's meals together for many years to come but it will also serve as a way for me to practice hospitality to our neighbors, friends, and anyone else in between.
Okay, well I guess that's all for now :)
